My favorite piece of jewelry ~ OTHER THAN MY ENGAGEMENT RING or any other item gifted to me by my sweetheart ~ is a cocktail ring. I have a multitude that individually range in price from $1 to over $100. To me, a cocktail ring is worn on the right ring finger and is supposed to be fun *and* be all about me! Not about any commitments.

Currently my go-to-item has been the brushed silver ring from Silpada¹. It is streamlined and mixes with a variety of styles. This particular ring even goes to bed and in the shower with me because it is so easy to wear.

Maybe in addition to a smidge of blue on the garter, I might add this pretty ring to my wedding day ensemble though I am also toying with the idea of a chunky turquoise necklace.

For a change of pace, the do-it-yourself and crafty bride might prefer for her ring to portray this same mindset/thought process and what better symbol of "handmade" could a girl find than this spectacular Bling Ring from Manic Trout?
