Bohemian Bouquet Tapestry

Oh how I would like this pretty Bohemian Bouquet Tapestry for our bed. I need two. One for the bed and the other to make pillow shams. :) As well as assorted throw pillows and probably a handy bag or three. ;)

pretty felt wreath

I stumbled upon a pretty felt wreath this afternoon and want to make some for the holiday season.

And with all of the leftover scrapbook paper that I will have... I'll do this.

31 days until the wedding

One of my fb friends suggested this book ~ http://www.drleman.com/store/Marriage-Books/Sheet-Music-Uncovering-the-Secrets-of-Sexual-Intimacy-in-Marriage/prod_37.html ~ though I haven't read it yet, I thought I would share the link with ya'll...  Just might learn something... ;)

While I surfing the net, I found a pretty fake ring. ;) It's pretty. Almost as pretty as the scenery at Mt. Magazine in Arkansas. The site for our 2011 family reunion.

A leading free stock photo site and one that I have actually used is http://www.sxc.hu/. I like the images that I find here.

Trying to decide on napkins for the wedding...

Saw an article that reminded me of patchwork and scrap quilts.. Had to look longer and share the site, of course.  ;)  http://readymade.com/projects/article/home_sewn  And that project led me to another link ~ http://readymade.com/projects/article/patchworked_pot_holders ~ and another... http://readymade.com/projects/article/beach_blanket_babylon

The above image belongs to VioletBella - source: http://violetbella.com/blog/

I posted the image above because I love fabric and I love the chaos in this image.  I started trying to find fabric that looks like stuff that I have.  :)  Thank you Violet Bella for sharing this image.  Btw, pretty kitty cat.  :)

Although I love my job, I wish I could spend all day sewing.  Sewing doesn't stress me out and I am able to blast my ipod and dance around the kitchen when the spirit moves me.  I look forward to the day that is consumed with sewing and dancing to the beat of my own drum.  I suppose as long as I must have a boss, I want to keep the one I have.  I am learning a lot and enjoy my job bunches.

After the wedding, I want to concentrate on building the necessary components for me to have my own lil shop.  I need to source labels.

Denim Picnic Blanket

Denim Picnic Blanket

Totally need to make several of these. :) Great for all of those games that the kids play and there are never enough places for everyone to sit but there always seems to be enough ground... Yep, these would come in handy and wouldn't take up a ton of space in the trunk. ;)

free cheap and easy

I stumbled across the tutorial for a toddler bathrobe earlier today and thought it looked relatively easy and super adorable. The materials are very affordable and it would be great as a swimsuit cover-up too!
