Pink Wednesday

The notion of wearing pink on Wednesdays began for me last week, on Thursday, I believe. After a quick Google search, I discover that this is a Mean Girls "thing".

For a girl who adores pink, I have remarkably few shirts/tops/blouses in this color - thus, my shirt of choice.


I am definitely going to search out more pink tops when I go shopping next, and I am going to go through my fabric stash to see if I have the perfect pink pattern to embellish something already in my closet.

These fuchsia Nina brand shoes are seriously the best looking fancy shoes that I have seen in quite awhile and oh how I wish that I needed this much height on my wedding day.  Almost wish the wedding ceremony was indoors too...  Alas though the shoes look amazing and are the PERFECT color, I won't be purchasing these shoes due to their height.  Sadly, my dear sweet and sexy fiance isn't *that* much taller than me necessitating these heels.

Bridesmaid bouquets

I have eight bridesmaids and I just completed their bouquets. I am going to add ribbons closer to the big day. Their bouquets are dark pink hydrangea and my bouquet is teal hydrangea. My groom is going to wear a white boutonierre and the groomsmen will wear dark pink roses that match the girls' bouquets. I am going to add white roses to my bouquet to match my groom. The girls are wearing floor length dresses from David's Bridal in oasis. The guys are wearing black Calvin Klein tuxedos from Mens Wearhouse with oasis ties and vests. My groom and his best man are wearing bow ties and matching vests with their tuxedos.
